Here is the 2009 usher's schedule. Please note the months your team is ushering.

Several items for this year:

Seating People:

The congregation responds positively to being escorted to their pew. This is a practice we should continue and even try to grow. It also it also provides an opportunity to identify visitors to St. Johns.

Name Tags:

To help Pastor Ross and Karen to learn the names of the congregation, please encourage folks to wear their name tags. Don't forget to wear yours too.

The Usher's Fund:

In 2007 we revived the Usher's Fund. This voluntary fund is used for memorial gifts or other donations from the ushers as a group. In 2008 we collected $70.00. For 2009 we again ask that everyone contribute $5.00 per person for the year. Phil will cheerfully accept your gift.

New Members:

Several of our teams are a bit short handed. If you know of anyone who would be interested in being an usher, please ask them or give their name to Mike, Mike or Bob and we'll contact them.
