AMISH QUILT RAFFLE:  Enter to win a queen size Amish quilt with six pointed star design.  Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.  The drawing will be held on September 24th at the Altenheim German Fest. You do not need to be present to win.  Proceeds will benefit residents of the Altenheim community.  To purchase tickets see Kay LaGrange, Martha Corley, Kathy Guignard or Louise Hoagland.

ADULT BIBLE STUDY:  Join us each Sunday beginning September 11 at 9:00 a.m. for 1 Corinthians, a LISTEN UP! Bible study in the Adult Sunday School room.

THE GATHERING OF SPIRITS  St. John’s Women’s Sunday School:  Each week will begin with a song written by faith-based singer, Carrie Newcomer.  We will explore how the message of her songs and related scriptures speak to our lives.  Please join us in the Knack Room beginning September 11 at 9:00 am.  The class will be co-lead by Kay LaGrange and Carolyn Hayes.

DORCAS CIRCLE:  The next Dorcas Circle meeting is coming up on Tuesday, September 13 in the library.  This will be a pitch-in so come and bring your favorite dish and invite a friend to join you for an afternoon of good food and good fellowship with other ladies of the church. We will start at 11:30.  Hope to see you there.

MEN’S BREAKFAST:   The monthly Men’s Breakfast will be starting up again on Saturday, September 10 at 8:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

THE SOUTHSIDE FARMERS MARKET located in St. John’s north parking lot is open Wednesdays from 4-7 pm, May through October.
